morocco

a sensory adventure

Retreat Details

Duration:  7 nights / 8 days

Date:  26 June - 03 July 2027

Location: Tigmi Marrakech

Investment: from €2,960.00 per person

About the retreat

Morocco isn’t a place you simply visit. It’s a place you experience, with all your senses.

It’s colour, spice, sound, texture, heat, flavour, movement and contrast. It is bustling souks and silent desert. Mountain air and warm evening light. Shared tables, unexpected moments and landscapes that take your breath away.

A retreat beyond the obvious, Morocco – A Sensory Adventure is seven nights of stepping into all of it: adventure, culture, incredible food, beautiful places, movement, yoga, moments of stillness and the freedom to simply enjoy being somewhere extraordinary.

Float above the landscape at sunrise. Explore the souks. Ride into the desert. Dine beneath the stars. Laugh over long lunches and shared stories. Move, breathe, wander, taste, listen and discover.

Feel the person you are without the weight of schedules, expectations and mental load.

Come curious.

We’ll take care of the rest.

We’ve designed a retreat with an intentional mix of experiences — some exhilarating, some grounding, some completely unexpected — without filling every minute of your day and deliberately leaving room for spontaneity.

Because sometimes the best moments are the ones you couldn't have planned in an itinerary.

Adventure & Discovery

Watch the sunrise from a hot-air balloon over the Moroccan landscape

Explore the souks of Marrakech

Race across the desert on a quad bike

Sit beneath a Bedouin tent as the sun disappears and dinner is served under the stars

Movement and practices

Practices are woven throughout the experience. Expect a combination of yoga, meditation, journalling and other somatic practices, thoughtfully placed around the experiences of the week. Some practices will be energising; others slower and more grounding. Some will invite reflection, others simply give you a chance to arrive fully in the moment.

Space

For a slow breakfast.

To move your body.

To read by the pool.

To take a nap.

To linger in unexpected conversations.

To laugh out loud.

To pause at sunset and then stare at the stars.

To feel the music and move without inhibition.

To let go of responsibility and know that everything is taken care of.

In that moment you look around and think, “I can’t believe I’m actually here”.

We've created enough structure so that you can relax knowing the important details are taken care of — and enough freedom that the retreat never feels crowded.

You simply arrive, settle in and say “yes” to the adventure.

Sophia is a transformational retreat leader and wellness guide who creates heart-led experiences for women seeking connection, meaningful experiences and a little more aliveness in their lives.

Blending movement, grounded practices, women’s circles and thoughtfully curated experiences, she creates spaces where women can slow down, connect deeply, laugh freely, explore something new and simply enjoy being fully present in their lives.

Having held hundreds of women across local and international retreats, Sophia believes the most memorable journeys are the ones that give us something we didn’t even realise we were missing, a new perspective, a deeper connection, a moment that stays with us long after we return home.

Janita

Janita is a yoga teacher, retreat guide, and space-holder devoted to authenticity, kindness, and equality. Her work is rooted in creating spaces where every individual, regardless of body, belief, or background, feels truly seen and safe. She offers group, private, and corporate yoga across multiple disciplines, as well as mindfulness and meditation guidance, all grounded in a deep foundation of philosophy and a global perspective shaped by living and teaching in different parts of the world.

As a retreat and event facilitator, she weaves threads of ancient wisdom gathered through her travels into experiences designed for joy, freedom, and deep connection. Whether guiding beginners through yoga foundations or mentoring teachers-in-training, her passion lies in walking alongside people on their journey back to themselves. Her approach is attentive, inclusive, and ever-evolving — because she believes yoga is for every body, and every path is unique.

the rhythm of our week

We’re deliberately not giving you an hour-by-hour itinerary — or telling you exactly what will happen on which day.

Part of the magic is not always knowing what comes next.

What we can tell you is that across our seven days together, we’ll move between the stillness of Tigmi and the exhilarating sensory world beyond it. There will be Marrakech, the Agafay Desert, an unforgettable hot-air balloon experience, yoga and movement, beautiful meals, moments of reflection, time to rest, and a few surprises we’re keeping to ourselves.

Everything has been carefully considered. The order simply gets to breathe.

Day 1 - arrive

The first invitation is simply to land.

Arrive at Tigmi, drop your bags, breathe out and take in the fact that you are actually here.  There will be time to settle into your room, wander through the gardens, meet the women you’ll be sharing this adventure with and allow the journey here to fall away.

As the day softens, we’ll gather together, share our first meal and open the retreat.

No rushing. No performing. No needing to be anywhere else.

Just the beginning.

Day 2 - awaken

Now we begin to wake up to where we are.

The warmth on your skin. Moroccan flavours at breakfast. Colour everywhere. The scent of something unfamiliar. The Atlas Mountains in the distance. The sounds of a place very different from home.

Through movement, breath, stillness and the simple act of paying attention, we begin experiencing Morocco with more than our eyes.

The week is opening.

And so are we.

Day 3 - explore

Curiosity gets to lead.

There will be places to wander, things to taste, corners to discover and experiences that invite us beyond what we already know.

Somewhere between the conversations, laughter, colour, movement and occasional glorious sensory overload, everyday life starts to feel very far away.

This is the kind of day that reminds you how much fun it is to be somewhere completely new.

Day 4 - exhale

Not every moment needs to be filled.

There will be space within our week to sleep a little longer, linger over breakfast, lie beside the pool, book a hammam or spa treatment, disappear with a book, journal, nap or get caught in one of those conversations that somehow lasts half the afternoon.

We’ll gather when it feels right.

And there will also be permission to do absolutely nothing at all.

Because we have no intention of creating the kind of retreat that requires another holiday afterwards.

Day 5 - say yes

There is a particular kind of aliveness that comes from doing something you wouldn’t ordinarily do.

This week will invite a little of that.

Not recklessness. Not pushing yourself to prove anything.

Just curiosity.

A willingness to step beyond the familiar, try something new and perhaps discover that the woman who thought, “I’m not sure I’d ever do that…” is suddenly the woman saying:

“I cannot believe I actually did that.”

Day 6 - savour

By now, Morocco has worked its way in.

There are stories being told over meals. Inside jokes appearing. Photographs filling phones. New friendships forming. Moments that couldn't possibly have been planned.

Today is about being in all of it.

The adventure. The stillness. The food. The landscape. The laughter. The women around you.

Nothing to chase.

Just one more glorious day to experience whatever Morocco has waiting for us.

Day 7 - gather in

And somehow, it is already the final day.

By now there will be moments you know you’ll talk about for years and others that may remain quietly yours.

We’ll slow the pace, gather together and take time to acknowledge everything we’ve shared — the adventure, the laughter, the surprises, the conversations and the connections that could never have appeared on an itinerary.

Not because every experience needs to become a lesson.

But because occasionally it is worth stopping long enough to think:

Look at what we just experienced.

The exact order and timing of our programme will unfold around the group, the weather and the natural rhythm of our time in Morocco.

There will be places to go, things to taste, landscapes to explore, moments to savour and stories waiting to happen.

And there will also be nowhere you need to be other than exactly where you are.
